Recent Work

Some Selections of Recent Work:

From the Baseline

  • 1 hour television documentary
  • Broadcast stereo mix

From the Baseline documents the the Georgetown Universtity basketball team as they travelled to China for a series of exhibition games this past summer and aired on MASN/NESN in November, 2011.

Cart Man’s Great Adventure (9/2011):

  • Series of three 1 hour television documentaries
  • Broadcast surround format

This was a fun one. It was a set of TV docs that were re-edited for time, but the only material available was the mono track on the master tape of the original cut. That meant that matching or replacement ambiences and effects had to be built for the entire span of each show. Represented here is the opening of one episode, and a brief segment from another.

The Loudest Show on Earth (3/2011):

  • Short-form documentary
  • Stereo mix for festival/theatrical exhibition

Batala is a worldwide musical organization, with bands scattered around the globe. This documentary looks at how the band was started, the diversity of its members and the impact it has on their lives. Nothing says empowerment like a couple hundred percussionists marching through Notting HIll in London!
