Monthly Sound Design Challenge (last updated 8/8/10):
- All materials provided for use in the monthly challenge remain the property of the original owner. They are provided for use in the Challenge with the permission of that owner. In the case of Creative Commons copyrighted pieces, all effort is made to contact the owner of the materials prior to use. However, if contact is unavailable, consent is assumed based on the regulations of Creative Commons copyrights (if the piece has been identified as using said copyright).
- Unless otherwise noted, all materials provided are copyrighted and may not be used for any other purposes; with the exception of use in reels (either as physical media, or as a clip on a personal website) as a component of a completed challenge.
- Materials provided for the Challenge shall be available for the week of the challenge only. Please do not contact the site to request copies of previous materials.
- By participating in the Challenge, you acknowledge that you have no legal claims to ownership of provided materials (e.g. sales/redistribution/etc.).
- If you have completed and posted to one of the monthly challenges, that particular project may be used for the purposes of a reel. This includes all materials provided for said challenge, provided that they were used in the finished, posted, project.
- Participants retain ownership and rights to all of their personal audio work for the Challenge, but give permission to the Dynamic Interference website to post or link to said material on the website for the purposes of the Challenge (e.g. community voting, discussion, etc.). Material will not be distributed by the site in any other way.
- The Dynamic Interference website, and all of its associates, will not accept responsibility in legal matters arising from the actions of participants in the challenge.
SoundSwap (last updated 10/29/10):
- SoundSwap is for the trading of personally owned (recorded and/or synthesized) sound effects.
- You may not offer to trade or request any sounds from a commercially available library, unless you own the rights to that library.
- You may not offer to trade or request sounds that are derivatives of sound effects from commercially available libraries.
- You may not offer to trade or request sound effects from or derived from another individual’s personal library (i.e. don’t put anything up here from Freesound.org…unless, of course, you are the original owner and retain all rights to the material).
- The Dynamic Interference website, and all of its associates, will not accept responsibility in legal matters arising from the actions of users of the SoundSwap forum.
Dynamic Interference Content (last updated 8/6/10):
All material posted on this site belongs to someone. There will be embedded video clips, both mine and others’, audio clips, etc. Feel free to link to, or embed, materials on your own site or those you visit. If it is exclusive content of this site, please do give credit when you do so. Please do not reuse materials in any other way without permission. If you see something on this site you would like to use, then please contact me and we’ll see what we can work out.
